I could write a series of posts about Vista, mostly about how it is not even close to being as bad as it is perceived to be. But I won’t do that right now.
I have been using Vista since a few months after it came out and one thing I have not had problems with the OS crashing. In fact the only time I recall any applications crashing was a game that would crash when you exited – pretty much the most harmless crash possible and I have a feeling it had more to do with the game and less to do with Vista.
That said, I managed a nice, pretty blue screen of death on Vista last night. And this might work on XP – but I probably won’t bother trying it.
